In this fun, weekly after school program students in grades 2-6 learn to code their own video games, animations and digital art using the MIT-developed programming language called Scratch. Scratch is a fun and creative way for students to use their imaginations, problem solving skills and artistic abilities while having fun and learning how to program their own Scratch projects. We have One full year of curriculum which students will learn through video presentations, guided projects and lots of help from instuctors. All students receive:

  • a weekly 90-minute Scratch class led by experienced instructors who provide guidance and inspiration;
  • Lots of assistance and one-on-one help from instructors due to our 6:1 student, teacher ratio;
  • an invitation to our Scratch clubs online studio where students can share, play and comment on each others projects;
  • access to our extended character/sprite library (minecraft, pokemon, and more!), and;
  • the opportunity to present their projects to their classmates (optional).

All Elementary School coding programs have a money back guarantee for all unused classes at anytime.

FAQ

What if my child doesn’t like the class or camp?
We want every student to enjoy Coding Club and learn valuable skills. Therefore, if your child isn't enjoying the class we will gladly see if there is anything we can do to improve their experience, however if not, we are happy to refund the remaining cost of tuition.
Note: This refund policy only applies to classes at Elementary Schools

If there’s a snow day or school holiday where Coding Club gets canceled, will I still be charged for the class?
Absolutely not. If Coding Club is cancelled than a refund will be issued for that class.

Can I get a refund for classes that my child is absent for?
Unfortunately if a child is absent from class for a reason that is not the fault of the school, weather or Colorado Code Club then a refund will not be available. However, all students are encouraged to make up the class at a different location. To schedule a make up class please contact us at 720-496-0755.

What happens if the Scratch servers go down during class and my child is unable to work in Scratch?
Unfortunately the Scratch website servers do unexpectedly go down for maintenance from time to time. If that happens we will do a 10-15 minute Scratch demonstration on something the kids want to learn how to do and see if it is back online after that. If not, we will continue work in the Scratch offline editor.
