Summer Camps 2019

Scratch Coding Camp (Ages 7-11)

Students will learn to program their own video games, animations, mBot Robots and Micro:Bit Controllers using the MIT-developed programming language Scratch! Scratch has a user friendly and intuitive interface which allows students to learn real programming concepts through writing scripts by connecting digital blocks together.

All participants will receive a “Scratch Project/Skills" guide, access to an extended character library (pokemon, minecraft, etc...), an invitation to the club’s online Scratch studio where kids can share their projects and their own Micro:Bit Controller to take home!

This camp is designed to be fun and challenging for students both new and experienced in Scratch.

Minecraft Adventure Camps (Ages 7-11)

Camp 1 - A Hero's Journey

“A Hero’s Journey” is the original Minecraft Adventure Camp which starts students on an exciting journey as part of a world via our exclusive and safe online server! During the week, students will work together to build their own town and complete four epic quests! They’ll travel to faraway lands, battle pirates, parkour through a fiery volcano, sail across oceans, and much more!

Camp 2 - The Quest Through Time (NEW)

“The Quest Through Time” is the highly anticipated sequel to the original Minecraft Adventure Camp! The story of the four hero’s continues as we journey to new lands with all new quests! Students will travel through time with new characters, battle new bosses, enjoy exciting plot twists and much more…all to save our favorite hero, Ataris the Wizard!

For participants in either Minecraft Adventure Camp, the fun doesn’t stop after the camp ends!
All students will receive a “Crafting and Skills” guide, a surprise gift, and ongoing access to our private server!

Camp FAQ

Are these full day or half day camps?

Each camp is a half day (3.5 hours long) and students have the option to register for one half day camp, or they can register for two back-to-back camps and stay all day! Students staying the full day will have a one-hour break between camps to eat their lunch.

Can my child join “The Quest Through Time” if they haven’t attended “A Hero’s Journey”?

Yes, the camps are designed to be enjoyed no matter which camp is attended first.

What if my child doesn’t like the camp?

If your child isn't enjoying the summer camp we will gladly see if there is anything we can do to improve their experience, however if not, we are happy to refund the cost of tuition for all remaining, unused days.

Note: This refund policy only applies to camps at Elementary Schools
